NAIL POLISH FAVS

(left to right: Milani Jewel FX, Maybelline 200 Pink Shock, Revlon 925 Gold Coin)

Finally a new blog post right?! What a great way to start a new blog post by sharing beautiful colors.  Loving pink and gold right now, maybe because I can feel spring coming...

Here in CA its still breezy, and at night it seems as though winter is still crawling amongst us.  In light of it already hitting March, I hope everyone enjoyed their January, February and Valentine's Day.  I can't believe its already the end of Feb!

If you have any favorite nail polish recommendations that I have to die over, please share them!  Until then, be brave, be humble, and push hard towards your goals :)

HOW ABOUT MIXING W/ PURPLES

(right to left: Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria, Revlon 917 Plum Seduction, Pure Ice Spit Fire, Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat)

I've been trying to follow fall nail colors for autumn, but I realized I still miss that bright hint of color.  I do my own nails and I paint them twice a week, right before they start to chip.  This week I decided to go purple and magenta.  My all time favorite nail polishes are from Revlon just because its affordable and they have great color payoff.  I also love adding my signature accent on my 4th finger: the glitter nail.

CURRENT FAVORITES

(clockwise: Revlon 680 Revlon Red, Revlon 210 French Roast, Sally Hansen 170 Expresso, Rimmel 390 Burgundy Flirt, Milani 531 Gold, Revlon 799 Plum Night, Sonia Kashuk 22 Fatigued, Revlon 761 Scandalous, and Sally Hansen 07 Quick Sand).

HAPPY TUESDAY.

I wanted to share with you some of my current/past favorite nail polishes and books.

Nailpolish:  everyone knows you can't get enough of it, but I did promise myself I will buy no more- until I use up some of my polishes.  I sometimes feel like I'll never go through all of my colors because nail polish is certainly an instant splurge.  So instead of buying them every time I go shopping, I figured I'll go through my collection, rediscover a couple of colors and hopefully I'll use them all in rotation.  Currently, I'm loving the ombres, accented ring fingered nails in gold sparkles, and hues in darker shades of autumn especially in burgundy.

Books:  I really need to start sharing my favorite books of the month, but for those of you who need a kick of inspiration, I highly recommend The Happiness Project! All the books shown above are my past favorites and I recommend all of them.  If you are on goodreads, feel free to add me so we can share books.  My goodreads userID is: jennyjiin.  If your curious of what type of books I enjoy: I only read non-fiction, historical, self help, inspirational, biographical books.

If you have any favorite nail polishes or book recommendations, please feel free to comment below, thanks!

(clockwise: Revlon Princess, Milano Jewel FX, and Butter London The Black Knight, Revlon minted, Sally Hansen White Tip, Sinful Colors Out of this World)

Happy Monday!
Here's another one of my many, many nail polish posts.  As you guys already know, I've stopped by nail polish... So, I'm left with the colors I have and I'm slowly rotating through all of them :) Hopefully I'll be able to use all the colors I have in the coming months :)  They just a pretty color to life, don't you think?
Anyways, these have definitely been my staples for the past 2 weeks :) The colors are really worth a try! Enjoy!
