FAVOURITE

I would have to say that my current obsession right now is faux fur (seriously faux fur anything) and knee high riding boots, as well as ankle booties, but definitely... these black riding boots are my go to shoes for the moment. Found these boots on sale at Target!!!

TOWNHOME

Browsing through the web, I saw on Song of Style's blog, pictures of J. Crew's Jenna Lyon's home.  It is so beautiful it deserved a re-post.  Just look at the home: It's impeccable, lush, fashionistic... I felt an immediate connection to it because of all the fur pieces.  The old wood floors and dark/industrial concept in lieu of its modernist touch seems very well matched for this home.  I love the rectangular windows and I love the ceiling designs.

LIFE IN GENERAL

I love life because what more is there - Anthony Hopkins
Just some random shots from my phone.  (Hollywood, Little Tokyo, Downtown LA, Koreatown).  I feel like I'm living life from weekend to weekend, traveling and eating at new restaurants with Ryan as much as I can.  The hustle and bustle of the chaotic streets in LA makes life more exciting and exuberant.  Some of the things I need to catch up on in LA:
1. Olvera Street
2. Downtown Artwalk
3. LA Zoo
4. Museums
5. Watts Art Center

What are other fun places in LA?

LAYERING UPON LAYERING

I've been away from my blog for way to long so I thought I'd finally update with some layering looks.  I finally starting a tumblr to share my everyday moments, and I'm thinking of starting a lookbook as well as an online store but those ideas are still up in the air.  L.A is getting quite chilly, and  its actually starting to rain... But chilly weather is what we've been looking forward to just because it gives us an excuse to layer up with jackets, coats, and sweaters.  I do have to get one of these shearing denim jackets as well as an aztec poncho/scarf.... but I'm happy to say my faux fur collection is almost at its completeness!  More to share....

SUPAKITCH & KORALIE EUPHORIE

BEFORE my interest in fashion and everything chic, I was obsessed with street art, graffiti, contemporary and modern art.  Artists like Bansky, JR, Shepard Fairey and the likes, I constantly followed the street art movement.  One of my favorite inspiring woman street artists has to be Koralie- if you don't know her name, you've definitely seen her "china doll" girls.  Here is her lastest work in collaboration with Supakitch in Paris, called "Euphorie"

STYLE BY KLING

MORNINGS are the best time for me to follow through with the day ahead of me... I wake up, drink my breakfast (blueberry mixed with almonds, soymilk, flaxseed, honey and protein),write my "to-do" list for the day, sometimes gym it, check my e-mail, facebook, twitter, my blog, other favorite blog sites, follow up on current news... while sipping on a cup of coffee.  You can definitely tell I am a morning person. :)

I spend a lot of time browsing through blogs and fashion sites so I can keep up with current trends and discover great fashion designers.  Right now, I'm obsessed with Elin Kling... Her new clothing line in collaboration with another designer, Nowhere is amazing! Those two toned shoes: must have! Overall, her essence and style is impeccably simple and chic: I love it.

MADRID APT

I was on honestlywtf and I found this great post on Jaime Lacasa's apt that deserved a re-post.  OMG I love the blue with the bright colored furnishings... I recently got back into my creativity mode and I bought a red sketchbook from Urecht.  I will eventually/hopefully start collaging, drawing, designing.... but we'll see how that goes.
I also got back into the mode of the going to the gym... (which was highly needed) and I signed up for hot yoga and cycling... I guess with this cold weather and all, I've been feeling very heavy and sluggish...hence the want to be more active.  As for my current obsession, I've been obsessed with faux fur and I still haven't found my perfect black "faux fur" piece yet... still in the search...BUT if anyone finds a black "faux fur" collar piece, please let me know.  Thank you.

KELLY WEARSTLER

I love to get inspiration from fashion, nature, food, and online lookbooks.  One of my top favorite designers has to be Kelly Wearstler and I absolutely have the biggest crush on her.  She is the epitome of all perfect women- an artist, designer, businesswoman, a mother, a wife, and an over achiever, she manages to do everything in perfection.  I am truly inspired by her way of putting things in ornate order-  earthly designs with industrial materials, eclectic colors with bold patterns, I mean she puts together artwork through all her designs.

ELLE FR.

My fall obsession continues.  Elle's France captured everything I love about fall clothes: wool, twill, that dirty mustard color and those multi-colored stripped patterns, whats not to love about fall?!!  I get gasmic just looking at these photos!
