WHATS IN MY BAG

So, I thought I'd share with you some of the ish I'm carrying around in my purse.  I actually carry a lot more things, such as my make-up bag, a book, a camera, pens, notebook, etc.. but these are the basic "essentials" that I lugg around all the time.

I'm really loving my kindle right now, (present from the lovely sister) and I'm getting used to filming a lot too.  I tell myself I'm an amateur film maker-but we'll see how that goes, maybe I'll start making youtube vidz!

Overall, here's the lowdown- Kindle, Samsung camcorder, Michael Kors wallet, Panasonic headphones, (all presents from the boyfriend), itouch, droid, weekly calendar, notebook for all my quotes and my must carry on make-up necessities.

LIFE IN GENERAL: BIG 4 CONCERT

I do hope everyone is enjoying their week so far!  As for me, I'm catching up my reading, watching some documentaries and I'm trying to find new vegetarian recipes for the week.  (Any great cooking recipes you'd guys like to recommend??)

This month was quite hectic with a lot of outings!  I finally got to enjoy the concert tickets Ryan surprised me with for one of my Valentine's Day gift.  For all those Koreans out there, yes I went to the Big 4 Concert at the Shrine Auditorium (this concert is like American Idol but for real talented Korean singers).
It was really fun and I enjoyed every moment of it.  The Shrine had great interior decor, especially their chandeliers and I finally got to pull out my black fur jacket in March!  Overall,  Kim Jo Han was great live and I didn't realize how much I would like Ja Woo Rim's band.

Ryan and I were both excited just because this was our first concert together and our very first concert of the year.  Hopefully, there will be more concerts that we can enjoy!  Have a great week guys!!

INTERIOR OBSESSED

Happy Friday and I do hope everyone gets in a wonderful weekend.
To kick off the weekend right, I thought I'd share some inspirational pictures I found on theselby.   I absolutely love theselby and I tend to steer into that particular site when I'm in lack of inspiration.  While browsing, I stumbled upon a new face for me, a designer named Dorothee Schumacher-whom I adore now because her humble home is aesthetically organic and fluid- just the way I've always imagined my future home to be.  Her home is spacious, organically grown and very feminine from the closet drawers to the vanity, her perception and inner space is amazing! I wish I could have a tree house like that!!

MSGM FALL 2012

I seriously wasn't kidding when I said I was obsessed with floral.  If I could, I think I'd wear floral like the third picture (shown above).  As I was browsing through honestlywtf, I came across her post on MSGM, an Italian brand that I've never heard of.  Now that I've discovered this brand, I definitely have to say that its become one of my favorite brands for this season-I love the bright hues, prints, body structure and their way of layering patterns on top of patterns.  Isn't it just gorgeous?  It looks like their wearing a piece of art!

ZARA MARCH LOOKBOOK

Since we are in the month of March, I thought it would be very appropriate to share Zara's lookbook for the month.  Now you can never go wrong with Zara and Zara always has the most fashionable prints!  Right now I have to say I am definitely obsessed with florals and anything minimalistic and geometric.  Here are a couple of my Zara favorites.  (Don't you just love those shorts??!!!) Hope you enjoy.

DRUGSTORE HAUL

from left to right: Revlon Colorstay 500 Addictive Intoxiquant, 520 Brazen Desinvolte, Wet N Wild C252B Nutty, C303 Golddigger, C257A Kitten

Happy Friday!
Everyone knows how much I love my neutrals, and so I couldn't help but pick up a couple things from Revlon.  Seriously, you can never have enough neutral palettes in your makeup collection, its definitely a staple to have and its easy to throw on your everyday looks. (my favorite has to be Naked1 and Naked2)  Anyways, I recently went to CVS to pick up some feminine products and I came across 2 Revlon Colorstay palettes as well as single shades from Wet N Wild.

If you haven't tried any Wet N Wild eye shadows, I highly recommend you try them!  For $1.00-4.99 you get great shades at an affordable price.  The lasting power is great and the pigmentation is phenomenal!  The packaging though is really cheap so you don't want to travel with any of their products because they do crack and break.  Overall, the shades are pretty and Nutty is one of my favorite taupes.

I really love Revlon Colorstay nail polishes so I thought I'd give these quads a try.  My personal opinion in comparison: the pigmentation isn't as great as Wet N Wild and it definitely runs a bit sheer.  The colors themselves aren't as pretty on the skin (they are not true to color from the pan itself) and the shades do have a little sparkle in them.  Overall, its an "average" product.  I love the simplicity of their packaging and they do put together great color quads, however, I would recommend you not grabbing all of their palettes just because I know there's better out there.  I do though, want to try out their green/blue palettes just because the colors look a little bit more pigmented than then ones I picked up.    If you've tried them, definitely let me know!

INTERIORS

Happy Monday! Here's some great inspiration for all of you!
As you guys all know, I'm an avid reader/follower of the covetuer.  On their site, I recently came across Lauren Conrad's humble home, and might I add its definitely worth sneeking into.  With pretty florals, girly touches, and a sense of full femininity, she decorated her home with light pinks and nostalgic pieces.  I absolutely adore her choice of decor.

For more info, definitely check out: http://www.thecoveteur.com/Lauren_Conrad

LACMA PT2

Recapping my recent visit to LACMA.  I saw a lot of art that I really liked, especially Picasso, Andy Warhol and Kandinsky.  Unfortunately, I missed out on Frieda Kahlo's work and I do think I'm going back to see that one in a couple weeks or so.  If any of you get the chance, visit LACMA and check it out (In Wonderland exhibition).  Her work will be show cased until May I believe.
