Happy Friday!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful week but I do hope you are ready for the hot weekend!

Another post that I absolutely loved and found on honestlywtf.  This collection really has that strong feel of summer with its beautiful bright colors and loose fit pieces.  Both versatile to wear to the beach and to wear when hanging out with friends, Maison Scotch's spring collection is very much in style!

FLORAL SCENTS FOR SPRING

I'm still one of those girls who haven't found their "signature" scent yet...but hopefully I'll be able to truly connect with a smell that I think personally describes me best.  What comes close I think is Prada's Infusion D' Iris, but I think its missing a couple of key notes that can give it my "umph!"

For now since its spring, I'm sticking to floral scents, 2 of which are my fav: Vera Wang Truly Pink and Estee Lauder Pleasures exotic.

Whats are some of your favorite scents?

GOING GREEN

Happy Monday!  As the weather is heating up in CA, I'm trying to travel a lot more and improve on my amateur photo skills.  As the weeks go by, I miss Ryan very much and I'm trying to keep busy by working on "Project Jenny."  Some of the things I'm focusing on: taking pictures of my travels, venturing out into nature to get inspiration, read and draw more, and practice bikram yoga.

Here are some random shots showing you how I've been practicing with my canon.  All these plants were found in my backyard, amazing right?!!! (Fortunately I have a mother that absolutely loves to garden and I get to enjoy the beauty of green everyday).

To a happy and healthy week!!!

WEEKEND FUN

Recaps of my last days with Ryan in the States.  Before heading out to Korea, Ryan took me downtown shopping so he can pick up a few things before he leaves.  Oh the sadness of my boyfriend leaving me for six months!  Before lunch, we headed down to Little Tokyo where we enjoyed sushi and we shopped around Maple Street.

I have to say, I've never been around Maple and I feel in love instantly.  Delicate jewel pieces with chains hanging from aisle to aisle, I thought I was in heaven.  I will definitely visit again soon to pick up a handful of things so I can work on some DIYs.

I hope everyone enjoys this hot week!!

YES I LOVE NAIL POLISH

(clockwise: Revlon Princess, Milano Jewel FX, and Butter London The Black Knight, Revlon minted, Sally Hansen White Tip, Sinful Colors Out of this World)

Happy Monday!
Here's another one of my many, many nail polish posts.  As you guys already know, I've stopped by nail polish... So, I'm left with the colors I have and I'm slowly rotating through all of them :) Hopefully I'll be able to use all the colors I have in the coming months :)  They just a pretty color to life, don't you think?
Anyways, these have definitely been my staples for the past 2 weeks :) The colors are really worth a try! Enjoy!

As I was browsing through one of my favorite blogs, honestlywtf I found a post that I thought I'd re-post!  From a brand that I've never heard of, I immediately  became drawn to this designer because of all the beautiful prints! I mean look at those head wraps! AMAAZING! and those tribal yet organic prints: unique! I would love to dress like this everyday!!!

OVO

OVO. Yes words can't even describe this performance. Happy, eclectic, amazing, and wondrous, the performance was unbelievable.  On top of that, it was a such romantic date night with the boyfriend!
If you guys never been to a cirque du soleil performance, I highly recommend it!  It was my very first cirque du soleil but now I'm sucked in!  It inspired me for days and the show itself really brought out my creativity.  To check out a glimpse of their show, youtube it and you'll know what I'm talking about!

A LITTLE BIT MORE BEAUTY

(clockwise: Loreal Infallible Shadows Iced Latte, Bronzed Taupe, and Infinite Sky, Maybelline Color Tattoo Bold Gold, Tough as Taupe and Too Cool)

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday!  I ended up cleaning out my entire closet- getting ready for my massive garage sale- so that I can make some money and stock up on more goodies :)
On another note, I wanted to share with you awesome drugstore finds! As a side note, I do believe in name brand skincare, however for make up that is NOT directly applied to the skin, I use drugstore.
Recently I came across Maybelline and Loreal eyeshadows and let me tell you they are awesome!
The pigmentation, lasting power and the color itself is definitely comparable to name brand cosmetics.  On top of that its a lot more affordable so its a bang for your buck!
If you're at your local drugstore, definitely pick a color up, you'll LOVE it!

INSIDE TAYLOR TOMASI HILL'S HOME

Words cannot describe how much I frekkin admire Taylor Tomasi Hill.  I swear there is never a moment that she looks bad. With her signature red hair, I adore her fashion sense in style.  While browsing the web, I was able to find these pictures of her humble home on facebook.  With any interiors, I really like spaces that incorporate nature, minimalism, color, prints, and art.  Her space definitely speaks for itself.
Beautiful isn't it??
To a wonderful weekend, happy friday!!!

KITE FESTIVAL AT REDONDO BEACH

Happy April!
So, I've been doing a lot outdoor venue searching and I came across the Redondo Beach Kite Festival.  Now you guys know that I don't travel outside of CA, but I do travel a lot inside so here is one of my great adventures.

I was so excited when I arrived to Redondo Beach because for one it was one of the very first date spots Ryan and I shared and two because the kites were phenomenal to see.  They flooded the skies and the skies had sooo much color to them, it was breathing in sense where everything looked absolutely stunning against the suns rays.  I mean, pictures cannot describe how cool this festival was.  Overall, Ryan and I loved this venture very much, and I do hope that one day all of you guys can visit the festival too!
To an awesome week!
