Weekend at LACMA: Although I'm an avid art lover, I realized I never go to any museums out here in LA...I guess we all take for granted we what have, especially those in close range to us.... a great example: all the museums, beaches, outdoor venues... I live in CA and I rarely venture out!...I will now add "
GO to lots of museums" to my TO DO list :)
This past weekend, I went to LACMA to see Ai Weiwei's work before it left CA. His zodiac sculptures were amazing and I got to take a picture under my "ox" zodiac sign. Andy Warhol's works were also there and I got gasmic when I saw his famous soup can...Overall, it was a great weekend full of art and inspiration.
(I didn't get the chance to visit THE WONDERLAND exhibit but if you've never seen Frida Kahlo's work in real life, this is the chance....the exhibition is going on now until May... so check it out and let me know how it is!)
